About Us

Oakshade Stoneworks is owned and operated by Darryl Bullay. He brings over 10 years of experience working on high-end residential projects in New England. Darryl and his family relocated to the beautiful Hill Country of Texas in 2024. We aim to provide craftsmanship of the highest level and create beautiful spaces for you and your family to enjoy.

Our passion is the centuries-old craft of dry stone walling. Using traditional techniques passed down through generations, we artfully sculpt natural stone into beautiful, lasting outdoor living spaces without the use of mortar or concrete. Darryl is certified by the DSWA-GB and continues to be a student of the trade.

In addition to our specialty in dry stone work, we are highly skilled at installing concrete pavers, segmental retaining walls, stone veneers and traditional masonry structures. Our attention to detail and uncompromising commitment to quality ensure outdoor areas of unmatched craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal.

Based in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Oakshade Stoneworks takes pride in sourcing local limestone, sandstone and other native materials. We aim to combine old-world expertise with modern design sensibilities to complement any architectural style.
